Discussion Groups

The Family Center on Technology and Disability sponsors online discussion groups with AT experts. To participate, you can sign-in either as an anonymous guest or register as yourself. The registration process takes less than five minutes to complete.

e-Journals / Newsletters

Journal of Special Educational Technology (JSET ejournal)

JSET is a refereed professional journal that presents up-to-date information and opinions about issues, research, policy, and practice related to the use of technology in the field of special education. This online site provides an index and article abstracts. Full text access is restricted to members of the Technology and Media Division (TAM) of the Council for Exceptional Children.

Family Center on Technology and Disability Newsletter

This monthly newsletter provides discussions of leading-edge developments in assistive technology, highlights of member organization initiatives, updates on pertinent legislation and regulation, and many other items. You can subscribe online to receive the newsletter by e-mail.

Speech Technology Magazine

Speech Technology Magazine is published bi-monthly by AmComm Publications. Each issue of Speech Technology Magazine features news, new product announcements, special features, in-depth looks at major issues involved in implementing speech solutions and more. Application for a free Web subscription may be made online.

The Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) houses the largest education database in the world - containing more than 1.2 million records of journal articles, research reports, curriculum, teaching guides, conference papers, books, and much more.
