The Collaborative Planning Project (CPP) is a project, based at
The Center for Collaborative Educational Leadership in Denver, Colorado, that is training and assisting early childhood
teams in providing high-quality services for all young children. Project materials are available in the full text
"Partnership Profiles: The
Child Care Partnership Project" A compilation by the National Child
Care Information Center of the many partnerships formed to increase and improve
child care in various states across the country. In addition to describing a
partnership, each profile presents information on current activities, resources,
lessons learned, results, and contact information.
Not By Chance: Creating An
Early Care and Education System for America’s Children synthesizes the major
findings and recommendations from the Quality 2000 Initiative, a 4-year, comprehensive
effort to advance new ideas about reforming America’s early childhood education system.
The National Institute for Urban
School Improvement supports inclusive urban communities, schools, and families
to build their capacity for sustainable, successful urban education. The Institute
accomplishes this through dialogue, networking, technology, action research,
information systems, alliance and consensus building in efforts to link existing
education reform networks with special education networks. Their publications list
has many useful publications available to download.
The Map to Inclusive
Child Care Project was funded by the Child Care Bureau to provide
technical assistance to states as they include children with disabilities
in child care settings. This site includes the plans developed by states
participating in this project.
The National Infant & Toddler Child Care
Initiative at ZERO TO THREE is a project of the Child Care Bureau,
Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human
Services. It is designed to support State and Territory Child Care Development
Fund (CCDF) administrators in their efforts to effect system-wide improvements
in infant and toddler child care. This three-year project will work directly
with 10 states and territories per year, a total of 30, and will produce fact
sheets, issue briefs and other materials that will be available to all states
and territories.
