Alliance/Parent Centers Network
Parent Centers in each state provide training and information to families of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children and young adults with disabilities and the professionals who work with their families. This assistance helps you as a family member participate more effectively with professionals in meeting the developmental or educational needs of your child or young adult with a disability. The Parent Center in your state is listed on the Technical Assistance Alliance for Parent Centers (The Alliance) Web page.
- ZERO TO THREE
Like most parents, you probably have questions about your child's development even if your child has been diagnosed with a developmental delay, disability or special health need. Or you may just want to know what you can do to enhance your child's happy and healthy development. The ZERO TO THREE parent web pages, can help you navigate this critical period in your child's life. This site includes a section specifically for parents of a child with a disability. Look on the left-hand side for the Parenting A-Z section, and then go to Disability/Developmental Concerns.

NCCIC"S Web site contains helpful information on how to find quality child care in your area and how to obtain financial assistance to help with the cost of care. Including Children with Disabilities in Child Care includes information about organizations, publications and Web sites that contain information about strategies for including children with disabilities in child care settings.
- Film: Song of Our Children
This film encourages more and better educational inclusion nationwide. The filmmakers, who are parents of a child with special needs, produced the film for parents to have a tool they can use at their schools and in their communities. Learn more about the 58-minute film at Song of Our Children.
- Fisher-Price
Fisher-Price has developed a partnership with experts from the Let's Play! Project, a federally funded program that supports family play experiences for children with special needs. These recommendations emphasize play stages, not ages, because all children develop at different rates.

This Web site encourages new ways of thinking about disability and helps create a society in which all people are valued and included. It contains articles and products to promote positive images of individuals with disabilities.
- Tots-n-Tech (TnT)
This Web site supports the use of assistive Technology and has an area where you can find resources, information about effective practices, a glossary, and a Q & A regarding the use of assistive technology.
- Family Village
This Web site integrates information, resources, and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with cognitive and other disabilities, for their families, and for those that provide services and support for them. It includes informational resources on specific diagnoses, communication connections, adaptive products and technology, adaptive recreational activities, education, worship, health issues, disability-related media and literature.
