Alaska

  State statute, regulations and federal law set requirements for the identification of eligible children, service delivery, quality assurance, and the confidentiality of all records, data and identifying information received by DHSS and your family's local EI/ILP. The information in this PDF is a brief explanation of your protections according to state and federal laws.

• Especially for Families: Parental Rights
  Mediation brochures are available in English and Spanish, but some information specific to CT is included. Staying In Charge brochures in 7 languages describe federal regulations on rights and safeguards under Part C. Languages include: English, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, French, Haitian Creole and Vietnamese.

Washington

  This document was developed to provide parents with an overview of their rights and procedural safeguards under IDEA, Part C. The brochure is available through the local public awareness contact and is handed out as a summary when FRCs and service providers verbally explain parent rights to a parent/family in Washington State. These materials are available in PDF format * in English, Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, Lao, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese.
